ISIT 2009 will be held in Novo mesto, one of the eleven Town Municipalities in Slovenia. Through history Novo mesto established itself as economic and cultural centre of the Dolenjska region with some for Slovenia important economy areas (automobile, farmaceutical industry, ICT). City of Novo mesto lies on the green route of ancient peddlers trough Dolenjska’s beauty that reflects in varied countryside with its many hills, topped by churches, the imposing Gorjanci mountain range, the expansive Kočevje forests and the briliant green Krka. ISIT 2009 will be held in congres center in Dolenjske Toplice around 6km from the Faculty of Information studies in Novo mesto.
